WHAT IF CHRIS BROWN’S CAREER 

STAYED UNDER?

At around 12:30am on February 8, 2009, Chris Brown and then-girlfriend, recording artist Rihanna had an argument which escalated into physical violence, leaving Rihanna with visible facial injuries which required hospitalization. Brown turned himself in to the Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire station at 6:30pm and was booked under suspicion of making criminal threats.

That was three years ago and after that incident Mr Chris Brown became public enemy number one. He lost a lot of fans, women rights activists despised him and endorsement deals cancelled. It seemed that the promising career of this young man had come to an end. On the other hand, his ex- girlfriend Rihanna’s career blossomed, with hit tracks upon hit tracks. Rihanna was on the rise, Chris Brown was under.

BUT, the moment Chris Brown’s ‘I can transform ya’ music video got released, things began to change. Chris Brown’s career took off, a second time, a very uncommon occurrence for international artistes that have been plagued by deep scandal. From then on, Chris Brown has recorded massive hit songs and his career is back on top.

Not surprisingly, rumour mills now have it that both Chris and Rihanna are back together as they were recently spotted attending a Jay z concert just last night. Prior to this, our girl Rihanna had confessed and wept to Oprah that she was still in love with ‘Chris Bizzy’.

REWIND and my question is what if Chris Brown had never been able to overcome the ‘public enemy status’ he incurred from ‘beating up’ Rihanna  What if Chris Brown had kept on struggling, unable to release a hit song?  What if Chris Brown became a dope head, drug addict and social misfit?

Would Rihanna still have professed undying love for Chris brown?

The truth is that a 'successful man' will always win the heart of ANY woman he truly desires regardless of his nuances. 

This is a lesson for single men out there; if a girl you love so much dumps your A$$ or breaks your heart for any reason, the best way to get back at her is TO KEEP SUCCEEDING IN LIFE. Don’t rush to get a new girlfriend. Don’t get depressed and lose the ability to love again. Just stay on top of your game and continue to excel financially and in all other areas of your life. She’ll come find you and even tell Oprah about it.
